- Have Business Experience
- Have a Net Worth of at least $1,600,000 Canadian dollars gained through legal sources; and
- Invest $800,000 Canadian dollars
The government guarantees the investment of $800,000.00. After the five year period, the government returns the full amount of $800,000.00 to the businessperson. Many businesspersons do not want to invest $800,000.00 for a period of five years. For those situations, it is possible to get a business loan from a financial institution.
